En la web oficial del conjunto portugués han informado que André Leao firma por el club por 3 temporadas, hasta junio de 2020 y que el futbolista ha llegado encantado de regresar a su antiguo equipo tras tres temporadas en el Real Valladolid. El portugués ha reconocido estar contento porque ha recalado en el equipo en el que quería estar.
